Learning Logs.
The logs provide an effective way for students and tutors to record and evaluate marks, whilst setting goals to achieve in the future. Head for a Win has developed a learning log which can help students to track and reflect upon their progress as well as set performance targets for the future. Using your current marking structure, the students are able to note their current and potential marks for each subject. These marks can then be reflected upon, with or without their personal tutors and steps can then be made using the supplied SMART goal structure to improve on any particular areas that the student wishes to develop. These learning logs can be adjusted to suit your needs, and come with additional templates so once the student has the log it can be reused over and over again. These logs are already being considered by a number of schools to be rolled out for the entire current year 7 age group and to be followed year on year from then on.
